Newsletter Notes

The
electronic version of the Association's
Newsletter is published in the portable document format (.pdf), which
requires
the Adobe Reader to open. The best way that I have found
to
view the Newsletter is to download it to your harddrive so that it can
be
read offline, i.e. without being connected to your internet service
provider.

A
left click on a link above will open the selected
newsletter in a browser window, provided that you have the reader
program
installed. A right click on this link will open a menu which
should
include a choice such as "Save link target as" or "Save target
as".
Selecting this choice will save the current Newsletter on your
harddrive
to a place that you choose. Clicking (or double clicking,
depending
on the setting of your preferences) on this saved file will then open
the
newsletter in the Adobe Reader program.

to download the latest Adobe Reader in case this program is not
installed on your computer. The pdf (portable document
format) format originally proprietary to Adobe is now in the public
domain.
Foxit reader is a free, smaller
and faster reader for pdf formatted documents.
